What is Easter? What is the meaning of Easter? As I am sure you know, the answers to these two questions are as many as there are people in this world. Easter means different things to different people. You could ask one child and he may say hunting eggs. Asking another kiddo may bring you a result of remembering that Jesus rose from the the grave. Regardless of the answer you receive, we should always use this day to tell the story as if no one has heard it before. Tell it with great passion and love that truly comes from your heart. This is a day that could change a child's life forever. Being able to tell the story and add fun, meaningful, things into the activities will help kids not only have fun, but remember what you spoke about.

At my home church we do have an egg hunt. We call it "Eggsapalooza". We have over 2,000 eggs for the kiddos. But before we do that, we have the lesson of Easter. We add in worship, puppet skits, and have the kids enteract and get involved with what the lesson or story is. Getting the kids involved makes it more meaningful for them. It makes it fun and helps them remember the point.

I will be adding some skits, lessons, games, etc. that you could use for your Easter Sunday within the next few days.

I encourage you to always seek God's direction on what He wants you to teach to His kids. Cover each lesson with prayer. And always take time to plan it out.

God bless
Pam

EGG-ceptional

EGG-ceptional

This is a great inexpensive idea to make up for your volunteers that help out on Easter.

You will need Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. Colorful cardstock paper works best.

Print out on the cardstock:

"You are an EGG - ceptional Volunteer!"

Attach the note and the candy however you like. Be creative!!!

Preschool Song For Any Time

This is a great fun song for your preschool age kiddos.  Taken from Ministry to children.com

Jesus Taught Us How to Pray
To the tune of Jesus Loves Me
Jesus taught us how to Pray,
to God our Father everyday;
Morning, noon, and night--‐time, too,
We can pray and so can you.
Yes, we can pray!
Yes, we can pray!
Yes, we can pray;
to God through--‐out the day.
